Hsiao Kang suddenly dicedes not to participate in the college entrance exmanination, so he pockets the money his family gave him for cram school and goes wandering around Hsimenting district in downtown Taipei. There he meets Ah Tzi. Ah Tzi is a typical delinquent, who plays video games all day or rides a heavy motorcycle, Ah Tzi keeps a big padlock for throwing at anyone who ticks him off. Hsiao Kang follows Ah Tzi to a hotel where Ah Tzi meets Ah Kuei, a girl who was working in an ice skating center. Hsiao Kang takes the opportunity to destroy Ah Tzi's beloved motorcycle in the heavy rain. Ah Tzi discovered he was in bad luck. Not only has his motorcycle been smashed, his best friend, Ah Ping has also been beaten by gangsters. Even worse, Ah Tzi discovers that he has fallen in love with his brother's girlfriend, Ah Kuei. Hsiao Kang hsdn't had much luck either. His father throws him out of the house after finding out about the tuition. Now Hsiao Kang doesn't know where to go.
