In a small, secluded town by the sea, there lived two lonely youths filled with angst and uncertainty. The world of fifteen-year-old Ah-Guei has always been different from the others. Her eyes tell her that there are no greens or reds in this world. The only person she looks up to is her twenty-year-old cousin, Ah-Xian, who has a world map and a whole bookshelf of travel guides. With his imagination, Ah-Xian takes Ah-Guei on journeys out of their little town, into a world full of wonders. But Ah-Xian has a secret: He has always been attracted to the people of his own sex. Ah-Guei and Ah-Xian dream and plan for the day when they can fly away to a place where there will be no more loneliness or angst. Ah-Xian dreams of going to New York with his beloved. Ah-Guei dreams of sailing to a little island in the pacific, where everyone would be color-blind, just like her. Utopia doesn’t seem very far off in the horizon. Will it be possible for Ah-Xian and Ah-Guei’s dreams to come true?
