To support his family in the countryside, Liang Fei works as a hustler in the city and falls in love with Xiaolai, another hustler. During a service, Fei is hurt by the client. Xiaolai’s attempt to revenge for Fei leads to an accident, and he loses contact with Fei.

Five years later, Fei regains his footing in another city, but his colleagues leave their jobs one after another due to the social pressure. Fei visits his seriously ill grandfather in his hometown and realizes that his family spend his money while feeling ashamed of him being a hustler. Only his old friend Long comforts him.
