Shao-wu lives with her grandma on sleepy Kinmen Island. When her mom dies, her greatest wish is granted and she is sent to live with her dad, Keiko, a gangster in Taipei. He is the epitome of cool and she idolizes him. Kei-ko, for his part, finds that he likes being a parent. He even considers going straight. Kei-ko’s mentor starts selling drugs, and his closest friends are killed in a gunfight. Now Kei-ko must choose between fatherhood and vengeance.
