Biography：

Born in Taiwan, CHU Hsien-che has worked as a director and writer for more than 20 years. His documentaries have won major awards from home and abroad. His work West Island (2000) was shown at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival and the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam. Pick of the Litter-Stray Dogs in Taiwan (2001) won the Best Documentary at the Golden Horse Film Festival and was selected at the Busan International Film Festival. White Ant is his directorial feature film debut.
