Lan Tsao (1968-) is an actress, hostess, and singer. Her mother Hai-Yen Liu was an actress of Henan opera. In 1987, Lan Tsao joined an actor training class held by Chinese Television System and began to host shows. Since 1997, she has studied in Japan. After returning to Taiwan, she ran a Japanese language class with friends. In addition to hosting dozens of shows, she has released three albums and performed in movies ("Taipei Love Story", "As We Like It”, "Girls, Be Ambitious!", and "Reclaim"), TV dramas, and commercials. She has won the 30th Golden Bell Award for Best Host in a Variety Show.
