Chih-Chieh Yu (born in 1996) graduated from Department of Motion Picture of National Taiwan University of Arts and works as a director, writer, and executive producer. He is the head of Massifilms Ltd. and occasionally serves as a consultant on military history for many TV series and films, such as Gold Leaf, Detention and Tigertail, and short films, such as Ever-living Fire and Islander. In 2022, his short film, Contained, is nominated for Best Fiction Short of Student Slate of the 44th Golden Harvest Awards and selected into College-Short Film category of the 17th Screwdriver International Student Short Film Festival. It was also nominated for four competitions and won Best Creative Award in the 5th Kim-Kong Short Film Festival.
