Lin Wen-Chin (1933-) is a cinematographer. He began his film career by developing stills and then served as a camera assistant for films like "Oyster Girl" and "Beautiful Duckling". In "A Loyal Woman Supporting Her Husband”, he served as a cinematographer for the first time, followed by his directorial debut, "One-on-One for the Second Time". After completing "Spring Swallow" in 1989, he was promoted to serve as the head of the audiovisual production department, and later to the head of the cinematic and technical department at Central Pictures Corporation before retiring in 1998. Devoted to the film industry for nearly 50 years, he has collaborated with numerous directors, including Chu Yen-Ping and Liu Li-Li. He has been repeatedly nominated for Golden Horse Awards and has won the Best Color Cinematography at the 5th Golden Horse Awards for "Orchids My Love". He has worked on over 80 films, including "Everlasting Glory", "Misty Moon, Misty Birds", and "Don't Look Back". In 2024, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award at Golden Horse Awards.
