Yen Cheng-Kuo, born in 1974, began his career as a child star. He participated in many renowned films in his early years, including "Growing Up", "The Boys from Fengkuei", and "Lovable You". He was nominated for the Golden Horse Award for Best Child Star in 1983 for "The Sandwich Man", and gained widespread popularity with "The Kung-Fu Kids" film series. He temporarily left the entertainment industry but resumed his acting career starting in 2014, appearing in films such as It "Takes Two To Tango"," Gatao", and "The Big Power". He later expanded his career to become a film director, releasing his debut feature film, "Gatao 2: Rise of the King", in 2018, which garnered three Golden Horse Award nominations. He passed away in October 2025 at the age of 50 due to lung adenocarcinoma. |
