| Biography： |
Wang Chi-Cheng is a veteran art director who graduated from the Department of Imaging Arts and Sciences at Musashino Art University in Japan. He founded Production Design, a company dedicated to promoting art direction for commercials and films. He won the Golden Harvest Award for Outstanding Film and Best Art Design for his short film "Letter on Red.” He has collaborated with Hou Hsiao-Hsien (“Goodbye South, Goodbye” and "Millennium Mambo”) and Wong Kar-Wai ("The Grandmaster”). He served as the art director for Luc Besson's "Lucy" and Martin Scorsese's "Silence" in Taiwan. He won a Golden Bell Award for Best Art and Design for "The Magician on the Skywalk" and has been repeatedly nominated for Best Art Direction and Best Makeup & Costume Design at the Golden Horse Awards and won these awards for "Detention" and "Dead Talents Society". His other works include "Till We Meet Again," "Day Off", and "Old Fox." |
