At the age of 14, Chang Chen (1976-) made his debut in the film “A Brighter Summer Day" directed by Edward Yang and was nominated for the Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actor. He has collaborated with well-known directors such as Ang Lee, Wong Kar-Wai, Hou Hsiao-Hsien, etc. and has been repeatedly nominated for the Golden Horse Awards and won the Best Leading Actor for "The Soul". He has been nominated for the Hong Kong Film Awards, Taipei Film Awards and at Berlin International Film Festival. His works include "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", "The Assassin", "Brotherhood of Blades II”, "The Embers", etc. |
