| Biography: |
Tang Shiang-Chu (1964-) is a producer, sound engineer and director. He graduated from the Department of Drama of the National Taiwan College of Arts. He studied synchronized sound recording techniques with Tu Duu-Chih and worked on the recording of "A Brighter Summer Day". Later, he founded Ocean Deep Films and participated in the sound effects production of films such as "Paradise in Service" and "Seediq Bale". "How High Is the Mountain" directed by him won the Golden Horse Award for Best Documentary and the excellent award for Documentary Short Film at Golden Harvest Awards. "Pusu Qhuni" directed by him was shortlisted for the Golden Horse Awards for Best Documentary and Best Sound Effects. He won the Outstanding Taiwanese Filmmaker of the Year at the 56th Golden Horse Awards. He worked on the recording for films including "Detention", "Bad Education", and "The Pig, The Snake and The Pigeon" and executive-produced films such as "Untouchable". |
