Fledgling actor Eric Wang travels from his hometown in the south to pursue his dream of acting and dancing in Taipei. His auditions don’t go well, and he lies to his mother about staying over at a friend’s place when in fact, he has no where to sleep but in the movie theater. Right before New Year’s Eve, he finally gets an audition opportunity. But he has to wear a bear suit the whole time because it’s a role of a mascot. During his audition, Eric recalls all the kindness from strangers in Taipei, and he decides to reenact his journey and give the Director a surprise performance… Close
