The 'It' in LOVE IT MORE THAN I CAN SAY refers to the toxic waste at the center of this film. The film sets out to document the story of the treatment of toxic waste, which was illegally dumped on one Taiwan Sugar Corporation's properties. The factory workers who 'clock on' every morning - blissfully unaware of the dangers of coming into contact with such potent toxic waste. The director was persistently met with a wall of silence. In spite of his tenacity, no one from the corporation would speak on camera. He was repeatedly denied to shoot on location, but like a fly that hovers around rubbish, he refused to give up the story. The hard work paid off. Through his relentless campaigning, one of the worst incidents of toxic waste pollution eventually came to the surface - with devastating repercussions. Close
