Michael has a job. Working doesn't suit the imaginative and romantic side of his personality. He feels he has lost individuality. But he needs to work both for money and a source of his public identity. One day in the subway his mind searches back to when he was free to imagine and dream. He becomes lost in time and place. He becomes unable to make decisions between his personal and social needs. The train was approaching to bring the main character and the people heading for work to the stream of time and space. The slow journey started and ended quickly, like some memories that never existed. One starts to become suspicious about his/her value when wondering between the ideas of social position and personal value. The recurring events represented the main character's reflection upon life by which the meaning of existence of all beings was honestly depicted. Close
