On September 27th, Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival announces the full nominations of the 59th Golden Horse Awards, hosted by this year's Red Carpet hosts: Pink YANG and WU Nien-hsuan, former nominee of Best New Performer at Golden Horse. The nominations were finalized out of the 457 submissions (60 narrative features, 3 animated features, 40 documentary features, 228 live action short films, 63 documentary short films and 63 animated short films) and announced by Golden Horse Awards winner WANG Yu-xuan and former nominee TSENG Jing-hua.
Limbo leads the race with 14 nominations, including all the major categories, followed by Incantation and Coo-Coo 043, both grabbed 13 nods. The three films will compete in Narrative Feature, Director, Supporting Actor, Art Direction, Makeup & Costume Design, Original Film Score, Film Editing and Sound Effects.

Nominees for Best Leading Actor are Louis CHEUNG Kai-chung (The Narrow Road), LAM Ka-tung (Limbo), Anthony WONG (The Sunny Side of the Street), CHANG Hsiao-chuan (The Post-Truth World) and YU An-shun (Coo-Coo 043).
Nominees for Best Leading Actress are TSAI Hsuan-yen (Incantation), Angela YUEN Lai-lam (The Narrow Road), Cya LIU (Limbo), Sylvia CHANG (A Light Never Goes Out) and HONG Hui-fang (Ajoomma).
