Lin is currently a technical manager of Aesthetics Production. He was once a technical director and cinematography of Central Motion Picture Corporation, and the Director of Association of Cinematography of R.O.C.. His filmography as a director of phography:Home Sweet Home, Goodbye Darling, Tonight Nobody Goes Home,Victory, Falling Snowflakes, The Swordsman of All Swordsmen, The Wheel of Life. He won the Best Cinematography of the 6th Golden Horse Awards for Lonely Seventeen, and the Best Color Cinematography of the 15th Golden Horse Awards for Girl Friend.
