Born in 1970, Wang Yi-fei's sister is director Wang Yi-bai. She started doing art design after participating in making short films directed by her sister. She had participated in shooting films including "All You Need Is Love" and "Star of Bethlehem." She won the Golden Horse Award for best art direction for "The Shoe Fairy."
