WANG Shi-Wei

Wang Shi-Wei is a screenwriter, a film director, and an animation director. He graduated from the Pratt Institute in the U.S. He has founded the Gene Animation Studio and the SOFA Studio. He also founded a filmmaking studio to cultivate talents in animation and filmmaking. He co-directed the 3D animation "Mumu Hug" (2004), which was awarded and shown in many international film festivals, including the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France. He has won the Best Animated Show of the Golden Bell Awards twice ("Revisiting the Tribe of Flying Squirrels" and "Go Go Giwas"). He was the visual effects director for films ("Double Vision", "Seediq Bale", and "Cape No. 7"). His latest work is the animation movie "LUDA".
