Chuan WANG

Born in 1963 and originally named Xiu-Juan Wang, Chuan Wang is a senior Taiwanese actress. Graduated from Department of Theatre Arts of Taipei National University of the Arts, she co-founded Comedians Workshop, a Chinese stand-up comedy group.Her performances range from stage plays, TV series to films. Her famous works include TV series such as The Prince Who Turns into a Frog, The Story of Hsu Pang-Hsing and A Story of Soldiers, and films such as Nina Wu, Snowfall in Taipei and A Brighter Summer Day. An outstanding performer, she has won several Golden Bell Awards, and was nominated Best Leading Actress of Golden Horse Awards with the film Autumn of Blue.
