Director
Joe Hsieh, an independent Taiwan animation director whose works often explore the dark side of human nature and are filled with horror and suspense. Meat Days(2006) was nominated in the Pusan International Film Festival, The Present(2014) was nominated in the Sundance Film Festival and was awarded Best Animated Short Film in the San Diego Asian Film Festival. Night Bus(2020) was awarded Best Animated Short Film in the 2020 Taipei Golden Horse Award.
