Yong-Xin ZHUANG

Director

A graduate of Department of Arts and Crafts of Fu-Hsin Trade & Arts School, Yong-Xin Zhuang is a commercial director and cartoonist under the pseudonym Little Zhuang. When he worked as an art assistant, he presented his comics to Jian-He Huang, the editor of High Comic Monthly. Huang was originally not interested in Zhuang‘s works, but found his working doodle and journal very funny. Huang invited him to write for a column, An Advertiser's Notes, for the magazine, where he recorded his life in detail. The articles were published as a book in 1997. Originally, Zhuang was content with the publication. Later, he shot hundreds of commercials and won the Times Asia Pacific Advertising Award, Times Advertising Awards, etc., becoming a heavyweight director in the industry. He also outshone with his comics, winning the second place of Executive Yuan Graphic Novel Awards with The Window in 2009 and Comic of the Year and Best Comic for Young Adults of the 5th Golden Comic Award with 80's Diary in Taiwan Book 1 in 2014.
