Hui-Ching Hsieh excels in screenwriting and also teaches at the Indigenous Film Academy. She and Laha Mebow co-wrote the script for the latter’s film GAGA, which was nominated for Best Original Screenplay of the 59th Golden Horse Awards. She has collaborated with director Tso-Chi Chang for Flotsam and Jetsam (as a co-author of the script) and Thanatos, Drunk (as the sound engineer). She directed and wrote the script for the short film Memory, which was executive produced by Chang.
