Yao-Jen Tsai earned a master’s degree from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Versailles. His works include "Pinoy Sunday" (shortlisted for Best Original Film Song at the 47th Golden Horse Awards), "Port of Mists", "Towards the Completion of a Poem", and "The Untrammeled Traveler". He is one of the few Taiwanese composers experienced in scoring for environmental films.
