Lin Yung-yi graduated from Yuan Ze University with a degree in information communication. When he was a student, his directorial work "The Carrier" was accepted by the Taipei Film Festival and won Best Picture at the Golden Harvest Awards. Since he finished university, he has been working as a film editor and has edited several film trailers, including "See You Tomorrow," "Cape No. 7," "The Road to Mandalay," "My Blueberry Nights" and "The Assassin." He also edited feature films such as "LOVE," "Monga" and "Sweet Alibis." Furthermore, Lin was also invited by the Golden Horse Awards to edit its opening ceremony clip, collection highlights, and interviews of nominees. His ability in editing has been recognized.
