Tom Lin graduated from the Department of Mass Communication at Fu Jen Catholic University. He primarily works as a documentary film editor and has participated in the editing of numerous documentaries for channels such as Discovery Channel and National Geographic. He has received recognition at the Golden Bell Awards multiple times. In 2014, he was nominated for the Best Editing Award at the Taipei Film Festival for "Almost Heaven". In 2024, he was again nominated for the Best Film Editing award at the 61st Golden Horse Awards for "Yen and Ai-Lee".
