Born in Taipei, Cindy Lien is an actress and writer. Her first acting role came from the period drama of Public Television Service, A Touch of Green, and she quickly rose to fame. This role earned her two nominations of Golden Bell Awards, Best Newcomer in a Television Series and Best Leading Actress in a Television Series, she ended up winning the former one. Recently, she participated in the film Untold Herstory.
