Elvis Lu Ying-Liang is a director, a screenwriter, a cinematographer, and a documentary filmmaker. He obtained an MA from the Department of Motion Pictures at the National Taiwan University of Arts. His works focus on the underprivileged and pulse of society, including "Little Knights" (a nominee at the Golden Harvest Awards), "The Shepherds" (the winner of a Golden Harvest Award and of Award of Recognition in the documentary feature category of IndieFEST Film Awards as well as a nominee at Philadelphia Independent Film Awards), "A Holy Family" on his own family (the winner of Grand Prize, Best Documentary, Best Editing, and Audience Choice Award at Taipei Film Awards; a nominee for Best Documentary and Best Film Editing at Golden Horse Awards),"Second Sister's Home", and "The Oldest Street in Tamsui".
