Born in 1984 and graduated from Taipei Hwa Kang Arts School, Rainie Yang is a singer, actress and host in Taiwan. In 2000, she made her debut as a singer and the member of the girl band, 4 in Love. In 2005, she released her first album, My Intuition, and starred her first idol drama, Devil Beside You, and both made her well-known by the audience. In 2007, she served as the singer of Little Jasmine, which was the theme song of the movie, Spider Lilies, and nominated for Best Original Film Song of Golden Horse Awards. In 2010, she won Best Leading Actress in a TV Series of Golden Bell Awards with Hi My Sweetheart.

In 2017, Traces of Time in Love was nominated for Song of the Year of Golden Melody Awards, and she was nominated for Best Leading Actress in a TV Series of Golden Bell Awards again with Life Plan A and B of Qseries. She also participated in many films, such as Endless Nights in Aurora, The Tag-Along 2, The Devil Fish and Kidnapped Soul. She becomes one of the few artists who have nominated for "Three Golden Awards", which means Golden Horse Awards, Golden Bell Awards and Golden Melody Awards, and continues to be active in the Chinese-language show business.
