Director
James T. HONG is a filmmaker and artist based in Taiwan who has been producing thoughtprovoking, unconventional, and occasionally controversial films and videos for over twenty years.
He has produced works about Heidegger, Spinoza, Japanese biological warfare, and racism. He is currently researching the concept of morality in East Asia His work has been selected by many film festivals as well as exhibitions, including Berlinale, IDFA, Taipei Biennial, Mediacity Seoul Biennial. In 2018, HONG will curate the next Taiwan Experimental Media Festival and release a new documentary about biological warfare.
