Simon HUNG

Director

Hong Sheng-Yang (1981-) is a Taiwanese-American director. After studying 3D animation in Vancouver, he pursued further studies in filmmaking at New York Film Academy. His short film “Mr. Monster” was selected for the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival. “Battle for SkyArk”, the first independent feature produced by him, was distributed by Lionsgate; “10,000 Miles” directed and written by him was shortlisted for the competition at the Osaka Asian Film Festival. He also co-directed the sci-fi epic series “Dream Raider” for HBO Asia and directed the film “MR. MONSTER”.
