Joseph Chen-Chieh HSU
Director , Scriptwriter
Graduated from Department of Engineering and System Science of National Tsing Hua University, Joseph Chen-Chieh Hsu then went abroad for further study and graduated from New York University Tisch Asia. In 2016, he won The Golden Reel Award at Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival with short film, The Lobster Kid.
In 2017, he was nominated for Student Academy Awards with short film, Guo Mie. Later, he adapted Guo Mie into a feature film, Little Big Women, which was selected as the opening film of the 2020 Hong Kong International Film Festival and also selected into Busan International Film Festival, Tokyo International Film Festival, etc. Little Big Women was nominated for 6 Golden Horse Awards, including Best New Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, etc., and won a lot of awards.
