Graduated from Department of Theatre Arts of Chinese Culture University, Daniel Chen whose old stage name was Little Shrimp is an artist in Taiwan. He is a very good comedic impressionist and aspired to be a comedian since he was a child. He signed with the agency founded by Hsiao-Yen Chang, who is the well-known variety show godmother in Taiwan. Chih-Yuan Tai is considered to be his teacher in the show business, he is the second generation of Happy Faction which is part of the variety show, Happy Sunday of CTS. In 2008, he made his performing debut as one of "Four Provokers of the Happy Second Generation".

In 2011, he and Evonne Sie participated in the variety show, Kangsi Coming, and he used the technique of BBox to mimic the singing of Yu-Ching Fei and became an overnight sensation. The artists that he can make realistic imitations include Jeffrey Huang, Stanley Huang, Shin, Aska Yang, Yoga Lin, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Nicky Lee and Crowd Lu. He currently serves as a radio host, and also performs from time to time. The films that he participated in include Paradise in Service, We Are Family and The Village of No Return.
