Graduated from School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong, Hon-Yan Chan is a graduate student at Department of Filmmaking of Taipei National University of the Arts. His work, Old Man and A Dog, won Best Screenplay and Audience Award of Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival and was nominated for Best Short Film of Taipei Film Awards. Recently, he was nominated for Best Short Film of Taipei Film Awards again with The Poem of Pakistan.
