Lan Tsu-wei is a Taiwanese veteran film critic who had served as the judge for the Golden Bell Awards, Golden Horse Awards and Taipei Film Festival. He used to work as a reporter covering entertainment for the United Daily News and the production manager at the Central Pictures Corporation. He had produced "The River" by Tsai Ming-liang and "Murmur of Youth" by Lin Cheng-sheng. In the late 90s, he established a blog where he shared his film reviews. His extensive knowledge about film and music also earned him the opportunity to host the Public Television Service's "Film Score Genie" and Philharmonic Radio Taipei's "Movie Frontline." In 2004, he won the Golden Bell Award for best music radio host for "Movie Frontline," which had been running from 1996 to 2014. In 2015, he started hosting the radio show "Blue Cinema" to continue his passion in film.
