Director

Shie Guang-Cheng is a director and an editor. He graduated from the theoretical section of the Department of Sociology of National Taiwan University and London Film School. His works span films, documentaries, short films and commercials. With human rights issues as the focus of his documentary-making, he has made a documentary for the National Human Rights Museum, and his short film "Elegy of the Summer Heat" was shortlisted for the National DV Competition of the Golden Horse Awards and awarded at the Fano International Film Festival in Italy. "TWOgether" was shortlisted for the Best Feature at the Taipei Film Festival, and the film "Bao Bao" was shortlisted for the Jury Award at Asia Pacific Film Festival, the Taiwan International Queer Film Festival, and included in the special screening at the Outfest film festival in the U.S. His screenplay "Dragon Fruit Summer" was shortlisted for Excellent Screenplay Awards. He has directed the film "Eclipse".
