A professional cinematographer and film editor,Chang Jhong-yuan has long worked as cinematographer with director Tsai Ming-liang for the latter’s films including Sand, No No Sleep and The Deserted. In 2019, he was nominated for Taipei Film Award for Best Editing for his work in Your Face directed by Tsai.
