Born in 1988, Yao-Jen Chang graduated from School of Theatre Arts of Taipei National University of the Arts. In 2015,he followed the performing program“Q Place” held by director Wang Shau-di. The next year, he gained popularity by acting in Q series’ Life Plan A and B and What She Put on the Table. In 2019, he further emerged in the film and television industry by playing the leading roles in film Heavy Craving and TV series All Is Well.
