Born in 1965, De-Kang Chu is a Taiwanese actor of Chinese stand-up comedy. He has been active in the field of performing arts for many years, widely taking part in Chinese stand-up comedy, stage plays, TV movies, radio hosting. An extremely experienced actor, he has won Best Host in a Comprehensive Programme in Radio Broadcasting of Golden Bell Awards several times, and was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series of the same Awards with The New World. In 2016, he founded Badaoxi Performing Troupe in Hualien and devoted to teaching Chinese stand-up comedy and nurturing theater talents.
