Born in 1978 in Taichung, Yang Yi-Ann graduated from Graduate Institute of Studies in Documentary & Film Archiving of Tainan National University of the Arts. He has devoted himself to making documentaries for many years and directed films like Home and Beside. He is also the cinematographer of Our Youth in Taiwan.
