Graduated from Department of Filmmaking of Taipei National University of the Arts, Chih-Wen Lin served as the Program Manager of Kuan-Du Film Festival and a theatrical projection designer. The short films directed and written by him include On the Way of Food Delivery, Nodding in the Wind, Freedom Under the Wall and Into the Greenworld.

His films and scripts were nominated for Golden Harvest Awards (twice), South Taiwan Film Festival and We Love Cross-Strait Youth Short Film Competition. Into the Greenworld won Jury Special Mention at SeaShorts Film Festival, and represented Taiwan to participate in ONE Country ONE Film in France.

The documentary, The Old Men’s Party, he produced was nominated for Golden Harvest Awards and New Taipei City Documentary Film Awards in Taiwan and selected into VdR–Film Market at Visions du Réel, Switzerland.
