Puppetry and playing puppets have been the favorite hobby for Jia-Sheng Liao since his childhood. After graduating from junior high school, he began a part time job in the Pili Puppet Theatre and has served as a puppeteer ever since. His manipulation of two characters, Miao Tian-Hai and Dan Fei, in Thunderbolt Fantasy: Sword Travels in the East aroused many discussions among fans.
