Yeong-Rury Chen is the director and editor of the documentary Phil's Journey inspired by writer Ka-Shiang Liu's book Fifteen Asteroids. The documentary features the New Zealander Phil coming to Taiwan to find his missing son as well as visits paid to the Taiwanese who helped him in those years. As a record of the kindness of Taiwanese people from Phil's point of view, this documentary was shortlisted for many awards abroad.
