Chien-Yu Huang is a composer who earned his master’s degree in music from New England Conservatory of Music and his doctorate degree in philosophy from Herb Alpert School of Music at University of California, Los Angeles. He served as the composer for the visual art in the 53rd Golden Horse Awards Ceremony and the official trailer of the 54th Golden Horse Film Festival and won a number of international awards for scoring. In recent years, he participated in the music production for the TV series Hate the Sin, Love the Sinner, and the documentary Phil's Journey.
