Graduated from National Kuo Kuang Academy of Arts, Mario Pu is from Kaohsiung, and he and Will Liu are classmates. He worked as a bartender in a restaurant, and was later promoted to the assistant manager of operations, and served as the host in the events of the restaurant. Later, he starred in a mobile phone commercial and started to get attention because of a line, which was "Please don't call me again!" And in his early days working in the show business, he served as Jacky Wu's assistant and became an artist of Jacky Wu's company. After that, he is active in various variety shows or plays supporting role in dramas. He is also one of the original cast in the variety show, Crazy Show, and because of his witty and humorous performance, the audience likes him very much and calls him Light of Crazy Show. His performance in Island Nation earned him Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series of the 55th Golden Bell Awards. His film works include The Tag-Along, Who Killed Cock Robin, I Missed You and Untold Herstory.
