Director

Hao-Hsuan Yen is the person in charge of Po Li film company. He is studying for his master’s degree in the Department of Filmmaking, Taipei National University of the Arts.

His work combines reasoning with emotion and focuses on absurdities in life with a unique sense of humor. His debut short film "On Another's Sorrow" was selected for the 2022 Golden Horse Film Festival and won the Best Screenplay at the Golden Harvest Awards.
