Zong-Hua HOU

Director

Zong-Hua Hou (1984-) graduated from the Department of Art History, Tainan National University of the Arts. He is a director, a poet, a novelist, a screenwriter, and an actor. He has directed documentaries of exhibitions, including "Line of Vision－The Photography of Wang Hsin", "Lee Mingwei and His Relations", "Chuang Che Retrospective Exhibition", and "Reverberations‧HO KAN", faithfully representing the structures of the exhibitions through structured layers. His short film "The Black Copper Bowl" was shortlisted for the 2020 Randfilmfest in Germany and won the Best Film EXPERIMENTAL at the Festival de Sci-Fi - Terror y Fantasía and Honorable Mention at the London X 4 Seasonal Short Film Festival. He also published the poetry collection "Abrahadabra” and co-authored the novel "A Master Is Born".
