Chia-Yu Chiang graduated from the Department of Motion Picture, National Taiwan University of Arts. Her graduation work "Night Shift" based on her experience as a nurse was selected for the Public Television Service’s Innovative Stories and shortlisted for the 54th Golden Harvest Awards.
