Lee Kai-Wei graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. He has worked on several film productions, such as "Meeting Dr. Sun". He also served as an assistant director or an editor. "Mentalese Express " is the first film that he directed and wrote; it was nominated for Best Narrative Short Film at Golden Harvest Awards.
