Chen Yao-Hsing is a senior documentary filmmaker, screenwriter and cinematographer. He majored in mass communication in college. He attracted attention for the documentary "Years of Taiwan Film Culture Co." about this film stufal's rise and fall after the restoration of Taiwan. His other documentaries include "The Owl of Minerva Doesn't Fly at Dusk" (on children's philosophy), "Time and Tide Wait for No Man: A Touch of King Hu”, "In Perpetual Nostalgia: Tales of the Military Dependents' Villages in Literature", etc.
